Coach Don W. Hood has "retired".  However, he still coaches the vaulters at ACU in Abilene, TX.

Coach Joel W. Hood is the oldest son.  Joel is currently coaching at Jacksboro HS, in Jacksboro, TX.

Coach Don D. Hood is the middle son.  Don is the Head Track & Field Coach at Brownwood HS in Brownwood, TX.

Coach Derek L. Hood is the youngest son.  Derek is the former Head Cross Country Coach at ACU in Abilene, TX and is now a land specialist for NextEra Energy Resources.
